Visionary electronic duo Empire of the Sun are set to light up the UK this summer with a series of shows promising immersive soundscapes, ethereal storytelling and breathtaking visual artistry.

Known for their larger-than-life performances, the band’s upcoming dates will transport audiences into a world of pure imagination, where fantasy and reality blur seamlessly on stage.

The summer run follows the group’s highly anticipated 2025 European tour, marking their first return to the region in six years. Alongside revisiting key European markets, the tour will also bring Empire of the Sun’s celebrated live show to new territories for the first time, including Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Austria and Denmark, expanding their global footprint even further.

Comprised of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, Empire of the Sun boast a discography spanning four critically acclaimed studio albums, billions of streams worldwide, and a catalogue of major remixes and reimaginings, including the recent Alive (Reimagined) EP.

The duo are widely praised for consistently pushing sonic boundaries while building a fully realised creative universe uniquely their own.

Their 2024 album Ask That God marked a bold new era for the band. Released as their first full-length project in eight years, the album blends existential themes with the duo’s signature nostalgic, imagination-fuelled synth-pop sound. Featuring fan favourites such as Changes, Cherry Blossom and Music On The Radio, the album has amassed more than 500 million global streams, captivating listeners and live audiences across the world.

Empire of the Sun’s live performances are renowned for their theatrical ambition, combining kaleidoscopic visuals, elaborate costumes and expansive production design. The Ask That God Tour 2025 became a landmark global run, selling out headline shows across North America and Europe while showcasing the band’s most ambitious live production to date.

In North America, the tour drew massive crowds in cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Denver and Berkeley, highlighted by a sold-out performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Festival appearances included Austin City Limits, CRSSD, and Just Like Heaven.

Across Europe, the momentum continued with sold-out shows in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona and Lisbon, including an instantly sold-out night at Alexandra Palace in London, alongside major summer festival appearances.

The tour also extended to South America, with standout performances at Lollapalooza Brasil in São Paulo and Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, reaffirming the band’s enduring global appeal.
